GIVE
GIVE is part of an upcoming series entitled “Whatever it takes”, soon to be available on Sermonspice.com. It is a four part series looking at out willingness to take a scripture verse at a core meaning.
Shot in Roanoke, VA, with Micah Crizer and Chad Runyon, we used the Canon 5D Mark II using the Canon 85/1.8 and 50 /1.4. For post, we used Premiere Pro CS5 and colored with Magic Bullet Looks.This is my first video with the Canon DSLR.
I enjoy doing these one day “commercial” shoots. The satisfaction of turning around a video in a week fuels me to continue developing feature length material.

Communion To Go
This video was the second video I made with my DVX100. The idea came to me years earlier, upon being reminded of this product (this is an actual product, just the name is my idea). I made the product using flavored creamer containers (filled with sand) and “sealing” a “cracker” (actually, oyster cracker and the tops of mini-Oreos) to the custom-made lids. It took me longer to make the product than to shoot the video.
“The Lord’s supper on the go – don’t let religion slow you down.” I can’t imagine how anyone can commercialize the body and blood of Jesus any more blatant than this.

This is my interview of Emmanuel Kolini, former Archbishop of the Kigali Anglican church. I had the pleasure of going to Rwanda in 2006 with a small team to assess the needs of the church school in Gahanga, just outside Kigali, the Rwanda capital.
